Sorry to disappoint all of you R fans out there, but this post is not about her. Well, I guess I can make it about her, a little bit. R loves cats. We have 2. She loves them. They're not so sure about her. Ever since she showed up, they've had to put up with quite a bit of abuse and neglect. But we love them anyway. So here's to you, M.E. and Fireball.

This is a picture of the rarely seen M.E. She is very sweet but very timid. The best way to get her to come out of hiding is to very quietly concentrate on something else (like a book or the computer like now) and she will sooner or later show up and get right in your face. No, she's not a lap cat, but when she does want love and attention she will walk back and forth with her tail right under your nose and will not settle down until she's had enough and runs back to wherever she likes to hide. Her favorite thing in the world is to be brushed. Which we do very rarely. (sorry kitty)

Here's Fireball saying "My dolly." She loves to curl up on pretty much anything that's lying around. Laundry is a popular destination, even if it is in a basket on top of my dresser in my closet. When we have guests at the house, she has a wonderful time rubbing all over their shoes or on their bags. Fireball is a lap cat and will also curl up on the bed, but if she spots any kind of movement under sheets or blankets "Rip!" there goes your leg flesh. Both kitties have their claws and we clip them irregularly.
I could go on and on about them, but I should probably go feed the cats. (coming!)
