Commemorating Two Years of Blogging

I've been writing this for more than two years now. My first post was 24 June 2008, so just over a week and a half ago was my two-year blog anniversary. I thought it might be time for a little celebration and to post a couple of blog statistics.

Has it really been more than a week?

Goodness gracious. I can't believe it's been so long since I last posted. All I can say is that the time is getting away from me--work has gotten busy and we were out of town for a few days visiting Grammie and Grampie. More on that soon, as well as a photo of R channeling Yoda, a 17-month (give or take a couple weeks) post, and bunches of pictures!

I just realized today that my last post was my 150th blog post. Seems like a lot, doesn't it? Especially when you realize I've been posting at the rate of more than 1 post per day for the last 4 months. Whew.

I've been having so much fun with the blogging, though!

It's fun to hear from folks who read the blog and enjoy the things I put up on here, and it's fun to show off some of the things that R does. And it's fun to solicit feedback and opinions about stuff.

So here's to another 150 posts. (Oh, and another milestone this blog passed recently was having more than 2000 hits-- I think today we're up to 2010 visits to the blog!)

Posting Frenzy

Ok, I went on a posting frenzy. I've had all these things I've wanted to blog for a few days and just not had the time.
