Momdy

On Mother's Day J and I called each of our grandmothers and mothers and wished them a happy mother's day. When we called my grandmother, she told J at one point that she was so impressed with how good he is with R and that he's like a "second mother" to her.

I think R agrees.

Tonight, while getting ready for bed, I asked her if she wanted Mommy to read her a story. She picked up Shel Silverstein's Falling Up, walked over to J, and said, "Dat's Momdy, Momdy read a book" and promptly sat down in his lap.
