It is the most awesome thing to live within driving distance of both sets of grandparents. My parents called us in the middle of the month (a few weeks ago) to say they were interested in coming down for the weekend and how would we feel about that?
OF COURSE we were really excited! It's always great to see them, and R and RUS just adore spending quality time with their grandparents.
My mom has always been the photographer of the group whenever we're together, so I have pitifully few photos from the weekend. We had a marvellous time though, as we always do. One of my favorite things to do is go out for breakfast, so we had a great time taking the kids to IHOP and to a local place that serves a great variety of vegan and vegetarian food.
