    Awesome!!! Are those auburn hi-lites or is that natural? It looks great. I totally wish I could pull off a cut like that.

    Concept ALT: that's my natural color. I used to color my hair a lot in college but haven't done it for years now.

    I also chopped my hair off and M still looks startled when she sees me bend over her bed in the night to kiss her. Then she smiles, grabs my head with both hands and forces me to turn so she can see the back of my head and blow kisses to my hair.

    I think it's a cool summer "do".

    Kids react in funny ways. I can remember laughing at my mom when she got her haircut (the simple unfamiliarity caused me to react with laughter), even though it looked fine.
