First day of First Grade!

Today was R's first day of first grade. She is returning to the same school--and same two teachers--she had last year and we are all really excited to see what this year brings. Yesterday on a trip to Target I found some new colored jeans and colorful t-shirts and she was SO EXCITED about the new clothes she had to wear those instead of a previously-chosen Hello Kitty dress that Grandma sent a couple weeks ago.

RUS wanted to get in on the action too. I was trying to get them to laugh at each other instead of just giving me grumpy faces. I told them to stick their tongues out at each other. RUS was totally into it, but R wasn't. Until she was.
