U-Pick Apples

We went to a local orchard and picked about 10 lbs of apples with Grammie, Grampie, and R yesterday. R loved being able to pick the apples herself and carry her own bag with apples in it.R also loved running around the pumpkins. We bought her a mini-gourd that she proceeded to call the "baby pumpkin" and she and I shared an apple cider donut out of sight of Grammie (who was trying to resist temptation!)

  3. Oh, that looks like fun!!!! If it ever dries up around here I'm planning a day at the pumpkin farm... or maybe the orchard!

  4. CraftyQueen, you can't really tell, but it had rained all morning just before we went to the orchard! It was a little soggy but still a good time. A little mud never hurt R, and the place was probably a little quieter than it would have been otherwise. I think we'll try to go again and do the pumpkin extravaganza they have there; we might even go trick or treating there on Halloween afternoon. This place is *awesome*.
