Arrival

R and I arrived safe and sound in Connecticut yesterday. GiGi and PopPop (J's grandparents) met us at the airport and drove us to Grammie and Grampie's house. We got in a little before midnight. R fell asleep for the last half-hour of the drive, and I experienced my first "picking up a sleeping baby from the car and successfully transferring her to the bed without waking her up" moment.

Today was a nice, relaxing day. We took a walk near Grammie and Grampie's house in the morning, and all of us took a nap this afternoon. Then after dinner I talked with J online, we watched another highly emotional episode of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," and now I'm about to head to bed. Good night, all!
