Stick Music

We pass by this one park most mornings while on our daily walk. Today, J went ahead to the grocery store nearby while R and I hung out at the park, ate bananas, and played with rocks. In the middle of all this, in a seeming imitation of the impromptu percussion concert we gave her yesterday evening, with J playing chopsticks on a plate and me banging my hands on the table, she found a stick and started hitting the playground equipment with it.

In the first of the following three videos, you see R right after she figured out that hitting stuff with the stick makes fun noises. In the second video, she falls down and then decides to walk to a different piece of equipment and continues hitting it with the stick. In the third video, she really wants to see what else is out there and goes from hitting little round seat things to hitting a climbing wall with the stick. I apologize for the shaky filmmaking.
