Ok, today didn't go so well. I dropped her off (that's going to be the usual routine-- me dropping her off and J picking her up) and she held on to my leg and cried after I set her down on the floor and tried to put her food and blanket away. Then another teacher picked her up to hold her and she screamed as I walked out.
But the good news is that she slept well and when J went to pick her up she was actually still sleeping. He let her wake up and they came home-- she was kind of fussy for the rest of the day.
Here's hoping it's just a period of adjustment and things will get better, soon!
